One reporter was left stunned after an elderly Palestinian woman revealed what happens to all humanitarian aid sent to Gaza.

There have been several reports that Hamas prevents all humanitarian aid sent into the Gaza Strip from reaching the Palestinian people displaced by the war. The terror group instead keeps the aid materials for its fighters.

One elderly woman, in an interview with an Al-Jazeera reporter, confirmed that those reports are true and that Hamas does steal the aid.

The situation is difficult,” the reporter stated. “No aid is coming in.”

“Yes, the people are suffering. All the aid goes to [the tunnels] underground,” the elderly woman responded when the reporter tried to convince the woman that no aid was coming. “It does not reach all the people. We came here from Gaza City. All the aid is meant for us. I’m not afraid of Hamas, I am talking to them as well. All the aid reaches the Gaza Strip.

“A lot of aid is coming,” the reporter shot back. “It is being distributed. This is what they say.”

The elderly disagreed with the reporter’s claim, adding that Hamas takes everything.

“Hamas takes everything to their homes,” she said. “They can take me, shoot me, or do whatever they want to me.”

The reporter then claimed there was a misunderstanding before abruptly ending the interview.

Since the Israel-Hamas war began on Oct.7, President Joe Biden has announced several aid packages, $100 million in aid, for the West Bank and Gaza.

“Let me be clear if Hamas diverts or steals the assistance, they will have demonstrated once again that they have no concern for the welfare of the Palestinian people, and it will end,” Biden stated in October. “As a practical matter, it will stop the international community from being able to provide this aid.”

In November, Biden announced that the U.S. would increase its aid package to Gaza while warning the terror group against diverting the aid packages for itself.
