With former president Donald Trump crushing her in the primaries, Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley needs all the help she can get. However, Haley has turned down a weapon she could have wielded effectively against the former president.

Haley, while speaking to far-left NewsNation, dismissed the endorsement of former New Jersey GOP Gov. Chris Christie.

“No, I don’t need it,” Halley said when asked if she wanted Christie’s endorsement. “At the end of the day, you don’t want all of those politicians’ endorsements. That’s part of the problem. You actually want people who actually move the ball.”

Haley, who is facing mounting pressure to drop out of the race, revealed that she had plenty of donor cash to keep going.

“Donors have complimented me and have seen I am very frugal with how I spend, because that’s how I spend tax dollars, my dollars and campaign dollars,” Haley said. “Trump is hammering me like a drum and, at the end of the day, I get excited about that because that means we’re doing something right.”

Haley is facing calls to drop out of the Republican presidential race as she continues to trail Donald Trump in major polls. Following Haley’s Tuesday loss in New Hampshire, Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) urged Haley to end her campaign.

“I have seen enough. To beat Biden, Republicans need to unite around a single candidate, and it’s clear that President Trump is Republican voters’ choice,” the lawmaker wrote in X. Four more years of failed domestic policies like the Biden Border Crisis and record-high inflation, and failed foreign policies that have emboldened our adversaries and made the world a more dangerous place, must be stopped.”

Billionaire metal magnate Andy Sabin, a major Haley donor, has also urged the former U.N. ambassador to drop out of the race.

“You have to know when to hold them. You got to know when to fold them. You got to know when to walk away. It’s time for Nikki Haley to walk away,” the GOP mega. “There’s absolutely no upside to her going to South Carolina. And there’s a tremendous downside.”
