Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) has, once again, been caught spreading Hamas’ propaganda, following an explosion that rocked a Gaza hospital.

Hamas-run Palestinian Health Ministry on Tuesday claimed that the explosion, which killed over 500 people, was caused by an Israeli airstrike. However, Israeli and United States intelligence have released evidence showing that the explosion was caused by a Hamas rocket that misfired. President Joe Biden has also confirmed that the Hamas rocket launched into Israel caused the explosion.

The report did not, however, stop Tlaib from blaming Israel for the explosion. Tlaib, a Palestinian-American, told a group of pro-Palestine demonstrators in Washington D.C. that she would not forget the hospital explosion.

“That’s what’s been really painful … continue to watch people think it’s okay to bomb a hospital where children [are],” Tlaib claimed. “You know what’s so hard sometimes, it’s watching those videos and the people telling the kids don’t cry, and like let them cry! And they’re shaking and they kept telling them not to cry in Arabic! They can cry, I can cry, we all can cry. If we’re not crying, something is wrong. And so I’m telling you right now, President Biden, not all Americans [are] with you on this one. And you need to wake up and understand that. We are literally watching people commit your genocide and killing the vast majority just like this, and we still stand by and say nothing. We will remember this. But all of you, you need to know. I swear … you on the right side of history.”

Tlaib’s fellow squad member and anti-Israel lawmaker, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), has also blamed Israel for the explosion. Omar —in an X post— blamed Israel for the explosion while accusing the Jewish State of war crimes.

“Bombing a hospital is among the gravest of war crimes. The IDF reportedly blowing up one of the few places the injured and wounded can seek medical treatment and shelter during a war is horrific,” Omar wrote on X, sharing the false post with her nearly 3 million followers. “@POTUS [President Joe Biden] needs to push for an immediate ceasefire to end this slaughter.”

Omar has, however, backtracked her false claim. The lawmaker sought to blame The Associated Press for her action.
