Former president Donald Trump may be the only powerful figure associated with late child trafficker Jeffrey Epstein with clean hands.

In a video making the rounds on social media, a lawyer who represented more than 70 of Jeffrey Epstein since 2009, appeared to clear the former president of any wrong-doing.

The video showed Edwards in an interview with the Conscious Resistance Network founder Derrick Broze. Both men discussed the former president’s involvement with the late child trafficker and the case against him.

“The only thing that I can say about President Trump is that he is the only person who in 2009, when I served a lot of subpoenas against a lot of people … he is the only person that picked up the phone and said, ‘let’s just talk, I’ll give ya as much time as you want, I’ll tell ya what you need to know,’” Edwards told Bronze.

Edwards added that Trump was very helpful in the case, provided useful information and gave no indication that he did anything wrong during his association with Epstein.

“And [Trump] was very helpful in the information that he gave, and gave no indication whatsoever that he was involved in anything untoward whatsoever,” Edwards added. “But [he] had good information, that checked out, and that helped us, and that we didn’t have to take a deposition of him.”

The video was originally released by the Conscious Resistance Network in 2018 and began making trending on social media this week reports emerged that a list of Epstein’s associates will be made public.

Edwards had previously stated in court documents that Trump kicked Epstein out of his Mar-A-Lago estate and banned him permanently after Epstein assaulted an underage victim at the club.

Trump has spoken highly of Epstein in the past before his trafficking allegation surfaced.

I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side,” Trump said of Epstein.

The former president’s legal team has, however, continued to deny that the two were ever close.
