Biden CONTINUES Lack-Luster Performance
Following President Biden’s distinctly lackluster performance, one Democratic congressman predicted that people would probably want to have a discussion about what the nation saw on the presidential debate stage on Thursday night.
Rep. Joe Morelle, D-N.Y., said, “That’s a question that people will, I’m sure, want to talk about,” when Fox News Digital questioned him about whether he thought Biden ought to be the Democratic candidate for president. But this is only one night, as I said. He went on, “I’m not going to evaluate the president’s work based on one evening.
Before the Thursday night debate had concluded, reports began to circulate, claiming that Democrats were in a panic about Joe Biden’s potential to challenge outgoing President Trump in November. When Biden entered the debate stage in Atlanta, he sounded hoarse and even seemed perplexed. Biden’s performance raised enough red flags for commentators on CNN and MSNBC to concur that it was subpar. “No matter who you are as a lead performer, whether you’re a basketball player or you’re an opera singer, you can have a bad night,” Morelle said. “So I’m going to chalk this up to him having a bad night.”
The Democratic member of Congress was reluctant to voice their opinions on what they believed the president needed to do, but they acknowledged that some could want to talk about Biden’s position on the ticket and possible substitute choices. “No matter who you are as a lead performer, whether you’re a basketball player or you’re an opera singer, you can have a bad night,” Morelle said. “So I’m going to chalk this up to him having a bad night.”

Rep. Debbie Dingell, a Democrat from Michigan, said, “I won’t mince words. You know, that wasn’t the greatest Joe Biden. However, I will tell you that Donald Trump confirmed every worry I had.”
When asked whether she thought he should remain the candidate, she said, “You know what? I refuse to participate in the lamentations taking on in Washington. I am aware of the kind of person I would want to see in the White House.”
Seth Schuster, a spokesman for Biden’s campaign, told Fox News Digital on Friday that “of course he’s not dropping out,” despite the rumors that circulated after the debate.
“I understand that I’m not a young guy. “I’m not as good at debating as I used to be,” Biden said at a North Carolina campaign stop. “But I know what I do know: I know how to tell the truth.”
