A concerning medical episode disrupted Bishop TD Jakes’ Sunday sermon at The Potter’s House megachurch in Dallas, leading to his immediate hospitalization.

During his delivery, Jakes proclaimed, “Oh Lord, my strength, my redeemer, let them go in peace,” before suddenly becoming rigid and experiencing uncontrollable tremors.

The incident prompted swift action from several attendees who rushed to provide assistance on stage, after which the religious leader was transported for medical care.

The Potter’s House released an official statement saying, “During today’s service, Bishop T.D. Jakes experienced a slight health incident and received immediate medical attention following his powerful hour-long message.”

They further added, “Bishop Jakes is stable and under the care of medical professionals. The entire Potter’s House family is grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from the community.”

According to CBS News, medical professionals are currently monitoring Jakes’ condition. The Potter’s House, established by Jakes in 1996, has grown into a significant religious institution with over 30,000 members, maintaining its position among America’s most influential non-denominational, multicultural churches.

The church acknowledged the overwhelming support from community members through their Facebook announcement, expressing gratitude for the continued prayers and well-wishes during this challenging time.
