Maria Bartiromo, a well-known Fox News host, expressed her concerns during an appearance on “The Sage Steele Show” podcast about the biased media coverage against former President Donald Trump.

She mentioned that she felt compelled to speak out after noticing a “small cabal” in the media consistently portraying Trump unfairly.

Bartiromo highlighted that over the years, Trump has become a polarizing figure, which, in her view, has led to an unjust approach in the way his administration has been reported.

She also referenced political figures like Democratic strategist James Carville, who has openly called for corporate media to lean further into their bias against Trump.

This, according to Bartiromo, adds to what she sees as an ongoing pattern of unfairness in how Trump’s actions and policies have been framed.

“I mean, in the last ten years, I guess part of the issue, I guess you know, Donald Trump came on the scene and was polarizing to so many people that they went crazy. I think that there’s a small cabal who hate him so much and have convinced their constituents — media, academia, whoever else you talk [about], Hollywood,” Bartiromo said. “I saw that as being incredible unfairness, and I called it out, and I mean, that was one thing that I think the mainstream media that happened. Donald Trump happened to them, and they just — they don’t want to report on him fairly.”

Trump’s willingness to challenge the status quo and reveal underlying issues made him a disruptive force, leading to intensified opposition from certain media and political circles.

Steele remarked that many individuals couldn’t “handle” Trump stepping into the political arena. In response, Bartiromo suggested that this reaction was rooted in the fact that Trump had exposed “their corruption.”

“They refuse,” Steele said. “They refuse, and they get away with it. I think that’s the worst part is when the bosses, the leadership, allows it and it’s intentional. It’s so funny, I think it’s — I used to laugh at the TDS — the Trump derangement syndrome — that people talked about. I’m like, ‘Oh, this is real.’ People cannot can’t handle it.”

“And I wonder why? I think it’s because he exposes their corruption, some people’s corruption, and doesn’t care about talking about it. And they see him as dangerous in that regard,” Bartiromo responded.

Republicans have consistently criticized corporate media for downplaying concerns about President Joe Biden’s mental fitness, especially as questions about his cognitive abilities have surfaced.

However, after a notably poor debate performance, several outlets shifted their tone, starting to question Biden’s mental state and his capacity to serve a second term, which gained traction before he ultimately ended his reelection campaign.

Meanwhile, a recent report highlighted that the Harris-Walz campaign has been restricting access to events for reporters and photographers from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

This decision is reportedly tied to the company’s ongoing labor dispute, reflecting tension between the campaign and the media outlet.
