A mother’s impromptu haircut turned into a viral sensation when her 2-year-old son decided to play hairdresser in the middle of the night.
Sarah Kafaji shared her distressing experience on TikTok, revealing how her toddler not only gave her an unexpected trim but also attempted to fix his mistake with super glue.

In the viral video, Kafaji appeared visibly distraught with her hair jutting out chaotically in various directions. Adding to her predicament, several tubes of mascara had become entangled in her hair, proving impossible to remove despite her best efforts.
“I’ve literally been crying all f**king day. He cut my f**king hair so bad,” she said in the video.
She later explained in a follow-up video that her son had silently crept into her room around 3 a.m., accessing scissors and glue that were on her desk. Typically, her son’s nighttime awakenings involve crying, making them immediately noticeable. However, she mentioned that he deliberately stays quiet when engaging in mischievous behavior.
“I didn’t hear him,” she said. “Usually, when he wakes up in the middle of the night he starts crying so I’ll hear him immediately.”

“I’m literally going to have to cut off most of my hair. He cut all the sides of my hair off… I am literally spiraling. I am spiraling into a crisis. I’m not OK.”
While the authenticity of viral TikTok content often warrants skepticism, this incident serves as a cautionary tale about keeping potentially hazardous items secured away from adventurous toddlers, particularly those with aspirations of becoming amateur hairstylists.
