Day 4 of RNC: TRUMP Speaks
The man comes, the hour comes. On Thursday night, former President Donald Trump will walk to the center stage of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee to declare to the party faithful and the rest of the world that he is prepared to battle to the top in the 2024 presidential contest.
On the last day, the theme will be “Make America Great Again,” and Trump will outline his vision for what his campaign refers to as “a new golden age for America.”
As he does so, he will formally accept his party’s candidacy for the 2024 presidential race, solidifying a comeback that has been anticipated for four years and gaining further support in the light of the assassination attempt that occurred just five days prior.
It is anticipated that Trump will accept his third consecutive party nomination in front of thousands of fans in Milwaukee’s Fiserv Forum during prime time.
The CEO of Ultimate Fighting Championship, Dana White, is planning to present the former president. On the last day of the conference, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is also scheduled to speak.
Beyond what Trump has already mentioned, not much is known about the speech’s content.
According to AP, he told the Washington Examiner that, in the wake of the shooting on Saturday, he had revised his acceptance speech to emphasize a call for unity among all Americans.
“It was going to be an incredible speech that I was going to give on Thursday,” he declared. “If this hadn’t happened, this would have been one of the most amazing speeches,” the speaker primarily criticized President Joe Biden’s policies.
“To be honest, this speech will be entirely different,” he remarked.
According to the AP article, there is already a lot of expectation within the party.
Pennsylvania Republican Party Chairman Lawrence Tabas stated, “I do think that after going through that his message will be better, and I do think he will appeal to our better emotions.” “He has a great deal of empathy and compassion, but it doesn’t always show.”
The complete schedule of speakers for each evening has been made public later in the morning by the convention organizers.
For those who would like to watch the happenings of RNC Day 3 live, these are the details.
The Republican National Convention (RNC) will be televised live on the City Channel in Milwaukee starting at 6:00 p.m. on July 15. The coverage will run nonstop until Friday, July 19, at midnight.
