Tesla CEO Elon Musk said he would donate tens of millions of dollars monthly to a new super PAC that will support former President Donald Trump.

Musk pledged to contribute $45 million to America PAC each month, according to The Wall Street Journal.

America PAC’s other major contributors include Palantir Technologies’ co-founder Joe Lonsdale, the Winklevoss twins, former U.S. ambassador Kelly Craft and her husband Joe Craft, who is the chief executive of Alliance Resource Partners, according to The Wall Street Journal.

PAC’s light-speed focus is on “registering voters and convincing constituents to cast their votes early and request mail-in ballots in swing states,” said The New York Times. The group’s goal is to overcome the pro-democrat advantage in terms of the amount of voters that have been brought to the polls by the party’s get-out-the-vote campaign.

Lonsdale has shamed his network of high-ranking businessmen into giving generously to the group. The New York Times cited numerous large donations, including $1 million from Lonsdale’s personal business, $1 million from SpaceX director Antonio Gracias, $1 million from former PayPal executive Ken Howery, and $500,000 from Sequoia Capital investor Shaun Maguire as part of this push.

Musk expressed support for Trump immediately after a 20-year-old shooter attempted to assassinate the former president.

“I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery,” Musk posted.

Bill Ackman, a hedge fund manager and close friend of Musk’s, also announced his support for Trump following the attempt. He posted on X, “I am going to formally endorse @realDonaldTrump. I came to this decision some time ago as many @X followers have already understood from my supportive posts of Trump and my criticisms of @POTUS Biden.”
