R&B singer Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura is welcoming another addition to her growing family.

The performer took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce her third pregnancy, sharing intimate black-and-white photographs featuring her visible baby bump.

The 38-year-old artist hinted at expecting a boy through her caption, which included a simple blue heart emoji alongside family portraits with husband Alex Fine and their two daughters.

The heartwarming series of images captured Cassie beaming while holding hands with her daughters Frankie, 5, and Sunny, 3. Additional photographs showed Fine embracing his wife’s growing belly, with Cassie sporting unbuttoned jeans, an open button-down shirt, and a bra top, her hair styled in flowing waves.

This joyful announcement comes one year after resolving her high-profile lawsuit against former partner Sean “Diddy” Combs, whom she was involved with intermittently from 2007 to 2018.

In November 2023, she filed legal action against the music mogul, 55, alleging rape and physical abuse, which sparked multiple subsequent lawsuits against him. While Combs initially denied the allegations, he later posted an Instagram apology in May 2024 after hotel surveillance footage emerged showing him assaulting Cassie.

Combs is currently incarcerated at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center following his September 2024 arrest. He faces charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution, to which he has entered a not guilty plea.

Cassie’s Instagram announcement drew celebratory responses, including from “Pretty Little Liars” star Shay Mitchell, who commented, “OMGGGGGGGG!!!!! CONGRATS!!!! ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø”

The singer’s relationship with Fine began in 2018, the same year her relationship with Combs ended. As she shared with Vogue in October 2019, they initially connected at a gym.

Their whirlwind romance led to both an engagement announcement and pregnancy reveal in September 2019, followed by an intimate Malibu wedding shortly after. The couple welcomed Frankie in December 2019 and Sunny in March 2021.
